The Gland cable 501/453/Universal is a Group II certified double sealed cable suitable for installation in potentially explosive areas Zone 21/21 and Zone 2/22.

This explosion proof enclosure is dual ATEX/IECEx certified for use in safety (Exe), flame resistant (Exd), restricted breathing (ExnR) and dust (Ext) concepts. Integral ground ring suitable for “W” single wire armor, “X” wire braid and “Z” strip armor. Suitable for elastomeric and plastic insulated cables and especially for cables exhibiting “cold flow” characteristics in the inner sheath.
This gland provides an elastomeric seal on the cable’s inner sheath and a low smoke, halogen-zero IP, and retention sealant on the cable’s outer sheath.
