Explosion-proof cables are usually installed in chemical and petrochemical plants, offshore platforms, refineries and any other industry where hazardous atmospheres exist. Armored CGA cables are designed to allow direct entry of armored cables into Ex d and Ex e enclosures to provide any electrical connections to external circuits.

The upper body of the CGF explosion-proof gland is threaded to allow connection with a rigid or flexible Ex d conduit to protect the cable for a specific type of installation. The upper body of the CGI, CGL and GGV series is designed to hold a flexible waterproof duct that protects the cable for a specific type of installation and with different connection angles.

• nickel plated brass;
• AISI 316 stainless steel;
  O-ring and inner gasket are made of neoprene (-40°C / +100°C) and silicone for low and high temperature environments.
• All equipment is dual marked for Ex d and Ex e installation.
• Cable connections used in Ex i circuit can be requested with light blue pressure cap.
