The materials used to manufacture unarmored CG CABLE GLANDS have been studied to provide maximum protection against the highly corrosive agents found in these industries.

Unarmoured CABLE GLANDS CG Materials:

• Rice
• Nickel plated brass
• AISI 316 stainless steel
• The O-ring and inner gasket are made of neoprene (-40°C / +100°C) and for low and high temperature environments of silicone (-60°C / +180°C).

Features of CABLE GLANDS UNARMOURED CG:

• All equipment is dual marked for Ex d and Ex e installation.

   

• Cable connections used in Ex i circuit can be requested with light blue pressure cap.
  Cable conduits for armored cables are specially designed to be fitted with a floor washer that covers a wide range of cable sizes to facilitate selection and installation.

   

• Cable conduits for non-armored cables offer a complete range of internal gaskets to meet any requirement.

   

• The upper body of the CGF series is threaded to allow connection with a rigid or flexible Ex d conduit that protects the cable for a specific type of installation.

   

• The upper body of the CGI, CGL and GGV series is designed to hold a flexible waterproof duct that protects the cable for a specific type of installation and with different connection angles.

   

• Cable conduits with cylindrical threads are equipped with O-rings to provide IP 66/68 protection to the housing.
